On Friday, August 10th around 9:50 pm, Chuck A.K.A. Dad was severely injured in a motorcycle accident on East Broad Street in Statesville, NC. He was conscious during the whole accident. Chuck suffered major road rash, internal bleeding from his spleen, and a severed right leg. He was transferred to Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, where he was rushed into emergency surgery to remove his spleen and clean up the severed right leg. Since then, he has undergone 3 surgeries.
He has a long journey ahead, but his family, friends and the entire medical team continue to be impressed by his strength. Every day he faces new obstacles and we celebrate each of his victories. Chuck's family appreciates all of your messages of support and prayers.
27 year old Drake was involved in a motorcycle accident in Seattle on July 18, 2018. A gust of wind blew him and his Harley into a guardrail and he fell over a 100 feet off of a cliff. He sustained injuries consisting of a compound fracture of the leg, road rash all over, concussion & broke his back in two places including a thoracic spine burst fracture. He will be having a spinal fusion and at this point doctors say he will be paralyzed from the waist down and we should not get our hopes up that it's only temporary. He recently found out he is going to be a dad with his baby boy coming in December. He does not have insurance and he will have a long journey in recovery before he can work again. He is an amazing human being and our family is heartbroken that he is going through this.
My brother got into a tragic motorcycle accident which has led to bleeding in his brain. He does not have insurance so anything would help with the medical bills because we cannot do this alone unfortunately. Anything truly helps. Thank you very much.
Good friend of mine, John was hit head on by a work truck recently. He’s a damn good man. He’s been helping his great wife through many life challenges. I’ve never seen him anything but positive and living life to the fullest. John and Jamie are great , REAL, people. I’d like to help the family with this fund raising. John has a long road and many surgeries ahead of him. Any help would be appreciated
Andrew was in a horrible motorcycle accident last week that led to him having to be airlifted to Boise. He suffered many broken bones, road rash, and has been in an induced coma due to brain swelling and lung aspiration. He is fighting at this moment. He is still in critical condition with a long road ahead of him. These funds will go directly to Lea and Andrew, anything helps. Much love and prayers for him and his family at this time.
On May 15th, 2018 at 8 pm on Highway 211 near Briggs Ranch, Freddy was on his way back home on a motorcycle. Only five minutes away from home, a car turned out in front of him and hit the motorcycle. The impact was violent, and Freddy sustained very serious injuries.
Freddy broke all of his toes on the left and the right foot, sustained an open fracture to the right leg, a broken pelvis, a broken right wrist, a broken elbow, along with a broken tailbone and several spinal fractures and a lacerated kidney and liver. He was bleeding internally when he was rushed to the ER at University Hospital in critical condition. He was immediately rushed into emergency surgery to find and stop the bleeding.
He has had more then seven additional surgeries on his leg to clean and try to fix it. A metal rod was placed in his right leg. A skin graft was used to close the wound on the leg. He has had surgery to fix all his toes with pins and screws. More pins and screws to the pelvis, the wrist and a new elbow plate. He is still undergoing more surgeries and procedures to get out of ICU and back to his family, especially his two young daughters. We are all hopeful he will make a full recovery.
We ask that you please donate what you can and to share this page for the family. We will continue to update on Freddy's progress and we ask that you please keep Freddy and the Serrano Family in your prayers.
On the evening of May 22, our friend and moto sister, Kelly Yun, was involved in a motorcycle accident that will forever change her life. She was riding in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in broad daylight when she was struck in an intersection by an SUV, just a few miles from her destination, crushing her leg between the bike and vehicle.
While there is still a pending investigation into the cause and details of the accident, Kelly was rushed to the nearest hospital where part of her leg was immediately amputated. The doctors and paramedics worked quickly to stabilize her, fortunately, her injuries other than her leg were treatable.
Kelly’s state is improving, but she still has a long way to go before she can return to her normal life. We are heartbroken that we are unable to support her in person on the long journey ahead, but we know our girl is strong and capable of overcoming this obstacle and come out the other side even more enlivened and ready for life than before.
Kelly impresses everyone with her strong spirit and beaming personality, especially in the aftermath of this accident. We would like to ask our friends and family to support her through this difficult time. She will be in and out of hospitals and unable to work for the next few months at least, which is a huge financial burden to anyone. Adapting to this life change and upcoming physical therapy to regain mobility is enough, and we want to make sure Kelly and her family are taken care of during this time.
Around 12:30 AM Tuesday night May 8th, our babe Katie was hit by a car attempting a left turn while on her motorcycle. The person that hit her was not paying any attention to the only vehicle in sight on the Blvd. She has suffered a collapsed lung, multiple broken ribs, & damage so severe to her leg that she has a high risk of amputation amongst a whole slew of other injuries.
Katie is currently fighting her ass off in the hospital ICU & is showing us all what it means to be strong in dire circumstances. She has a very long road ahead of her and we ask that the community come together to send her all the love you can spare. Please hope & pray for her speedy & full recovery! This is one strong bad ass babe so let’s give her all the love & support she deserves! She will still be graduating from William Paterson on the 18th of this May Thanks for your love and support during this time and in helping raise awareness about motorcycle riding and also more females on the road the community of bikers has definitely doubled in this last year with just females alone.
Ashley's husband, Eric, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 16th. They have 2 beautiful young girls who Ashley will now be raising on her own. This will be a huge financial undertaking for Ashley and our goal is to help her worry a little less about finances during this extremely difficult time. Your love and support is appreciated more than you know.
On Thursday 2/22/2018 at around 11:00 am, Johnny was involved in a horrible motorcycle accident. Without going into too much detail, a driver attempted to beat oncoming traffic crossing near 135th and Crenshaw Blvd. This caused Johnny to crash into the side of the vehicle. His body was ejected from the motorcycle and landed approximately 50 ft. from the original impact. We are very blessed to have him with us today.
Johnny suffered life threatening injuries and remains hospitalized. He is slowly recovering and truly appreciates all the love and support you all have shown, it has really lifted his spirits!
Johnny's recovery is all we want him to focus on. Medical expenses should be the last thing he has to worry about. His recovery will be far from easy. He is a soldier and never gives up so we know he will get there and that's all that matters at this point. We hope to raise as much as we can to help him get through these tough times. Johnny is the most energetic, funny, loving, caring and supportive person. He is always a phone call away for many people. This is our opportunity to show him, that same love/support he gives each and every day!
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to support Johnny (a father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many). We love you Johnny and pray for you to have a speedy and strong recovery! God Bless
