Moto F. A. M. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping riders facing life changing injuries after a motorcycle accident. We offer financial support, as well as a network of resources that help riders adapt to life during & after recovery. We also promote and encourage proper motorcycle safety training, by giving riders (nationwide) the opportunity to participate in a class.
HOW MOTO F.A.M. HELPS
Moto Fam is a donation based nonprofit. We work with several motorcycle related brands, shops and dealerships to raise money to support the work we do. Sponsors might make annual donations, host a fundraising event, or even organization a raffle. We also have individual supporters who donate directly through our website. (One time or monthly).
These donations allow us to:
These donations allow us to:
- Make a $500 donation to the rider requesting & qualifies for help. We also promote fundraising efforts through our website & social media to help raise additional funds for these riders.
- As Moto Fam continues to grow, we have learned that emotional support is just as important as financial. We have teamed up with other organizations like, Pushing 4 Independence, to help is meet this need. We feel this partnership is important because we are able to pair each rider we help with a Peer Counselor. As well as keep them active after their accident, through an adaptive sport/activity, at no cost the them.
- In 2018 we funded 40 riders the opportunity to participate in a certified motorcycle safety training program, (Advanced Rider Clinic) so that we can do our part in lowering the number of motorcycles accidents that happen each year. (More classes to be announced soon)

If you or someone you know has been in a life changing accident, please request help here.
Moto F. A. M. has 3 very strict requirements in order to qualify to receive help:

We have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY on these 3 qualifications.
Moto F. A. M. does not fund motorsport accidents, off road accidents or stunts of any kind. Street legal motorcyles only. We would also like to make it very clear that we help riders involved in a LIFE CHANGING motorcycle accidents. This means we help riders that face permanent life changes caused by their accident. Although we are sympathetic to everyone who has suffered any kind of injury caused by a motorcycle accident, we cannot fund injuries that cannot be considered LIFE CHANGING.
Our organization is focused on a very specific level of injuries. Injuries that a rider will have to adapt to for the rest of their lives. We are determined to help with what theirs health & motorcycle insurance won’t cover. This does not include motorcycle repairs or replacement of any kind.

NEWS
When Moto F. A. M. started in 2015 we had big dreams of being able to donate $500 to each rider that needed our help. It seemed so far out of our reach back then. Especially considering we started with donating only $50. Over time that amount grew. It went from $50 to $150...$250... and eventually we were able to surpass our original goals and commit to $1000 donations.
We’ve stayed committed to that big dream and we have had help from some amazing companies, supporters & volunteers along the way.
So, with extremely HEAVY HEARTS, we are announcing today (June 26th, 2020) that we are forced to return our donation amount to $500. Covid19 has had and continues to have a huge impact on not only our fundraising abilities, but also on the companies and communities that support our cause. We look forward to increasing our amount when the dust settles.
We couldn’t make any size commitment without the continued support of the MOTORCYCLE COMMUNITY! THANK YOU!

In November 2018 we teamed up with Speedkings Cycle as they put together Dyna Days. An event for performance junkies. This event raised thousands to help us support critically injured riders. We’ll do doing it again September 15 2019, so be sure to check out our events page for more info.
