RIDERS IN NEED

The following are people who have recently been involved in motorcycle accidents and are in need of your help. Please donate if you can, and help spread the word!

Jason

Jason Love was in a very serious motorcycle accident when a SUV went to pass another vehicle and hit Jason head on. He had to be air-flighted from Corpus Christi to a trauma center hospital in San Antonio. We spoke to Jason’s family over the phone today and we are happy to say he is conscious and does recognize some of his family. Injuries include: A traumatic brain injury, An aortic dissection, the cheek bones and mastoids in his face were broken, compound fracture through both bones in his right wrist, 7 broken ribs, broken right hip, he lost around 5 inches of bone in his right femur, his right foot was degloved, a compound fracture to his right ankle, broken left tibia.

Since the accident he has had 8 or 9 surgeries to put him back together. Including heart and brain surgery. At the start there was a huge fear he would lose his right leg, now it is healing and the surgeries are doing well. As long as no infection occurs, it should be just fine. He has pins, screws, and bars in his arm, legs, and hip. He is awake and alert but still has trouble with his short term memory.

We are setting up a GFM account to help him and his family with medical bills and travel cost to AZ where Beto was most recently working.

Please show your support for his long journey to get back in action by donating. Any small amount helps. Together we can make the financial side of this situation less of a burden.

Zach “Newcastle” Jacobson Family Fundraiser

4/22/2019

Picture
On April 7th 2019 Zach “Newcastle”  was involved in a head on collision while riding his Harley on Ortega Highway in Lake Elisnore. This fundraiser is for his wife, Desiree and 3 and a half year old daughter, June. Anyone that knows Zach knows that the only thing in this world he would want nothing more than is to make sure they are completely taken care of.  We are trying to alleviate the stress from bills and household needs and make sure they are financially set in this time of need for the days and months to come.

Help my Dad recover

4/9/2019

This fundraiser it to help my father recover and help with the medical bills. On March 18th 6:05pm my dad was riding his motorcycle on the 60 freeway. When he was about to exit a car hit him from behind and launched him off the bike. My father Luis Quintero is in intensive care. By the grace of God he is still alive and fighting to come home to be with his family. My dad has high blood pressure and I am trying to make sure he is comfortable at home with no worries. Please if you can help or even share this page it would be mean the world to my family and I. Thank you for taking your time to read and hear about our story and God bless.

Becky Reynolds

Becky was involved in a motorcycle accident on Monday, March 11th and suffered severe injuries.  She has undergone some pretty extensive surgeries (and in true Becky fashion she has handled it well and is kicking its ass).  She is stable, but is still heavily sedated, and has a lot of recovering to do.

We are raising money to help with medical bills and living costs on her road to recovery.  Once we get Becky a little more settled we will make plans for a fundraising event.

The Reynolds family greatly appreciates all the help, love, prayers and good vibes everybody has extended to us, and can’t thank y’all enough.

On Friday, August 10th around 9:50 pm, Chuck A.K.A. Dad was severely injured in a motorcycle accident on East Broad Street in Statesville, NC. He was conscious during the whole accident. Chuck suffered major road rash, internal bleeding from his spleen, and a severed right leg. He was transferred to Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, where he was rushed into emergency surgery to remove his spleen and clean up the severed right leg. Since then, he has undergone 3 surgeries.

He has a long journey ahead, but his family, friends and the entire medical team continue to be impressed by his strength. Every day he faces new obstacles and we celebrate each of his victories.  Chuck's family appreciates all of your messages of support and prayers.

Drake paralyzed - baby on way

10/3/2018

27 year old Drake was involved in a motorcycle accident in Seattle  on July 18, 2018.  A gust of wind blew him and his Harley into a guardrail and he fell over a 100 feet off of a cliff.   He sustained injuries consisting of a compound fracture of the leg, road rash all over, concussion & broke his back in two places including a thoracic spine burst fracture.  He will be having a spinal fusion and at this point doctors say he will be paralyzed from the waist down and we should not get our hopes up that it's only temporary.  He recently found out he is going to be a dad with his baby boy coming in December.  He does not have insurance and he will have a long journey in recovery before he can work again.  He is an amazing human being and our family is heartbroken that he is going through this.
